Ops App use and monitoring notice

Updated October 12, 2026

The Ops App is how honeygrow runs its restaurants and support center: line checks, forms, HR requests, your inbox and more. This notice explains what the app records when you use it, who can see it, and what we ask of you.

Use it for honeygrow work

The Ops App is a company system, for honeygrow business only. Sign in with your own account and never share it. Everything done in the app is recorded under the name of whoever is signed in.

What the app records

  • When you sign in and out, the device and browser you use, and any sign-in that was turned away.
  • What you do in the app and when: the forms you submit, the requests you make, and anything you approve, change or remove.
  • What you add: answers, notes, photos, documents and signatures.
  • When you sign a document, the device it was signed on and, if your device shares it, where it was signed.
  • A copy of each email and notification the app sends you.

Some screens ask your device for its location to suggest the nearest restaurant. That stays on your device and is not saved.

We keep these records so the app stays secure, so there is a clear record of who did what (HR and audits rely on it), and so we can fix problems. Using the app means this activity is monitored and recorded.

Who can see it

Only people whose job needs it, based on their role: your managers for work at their restaurants, HR, and the technology team for support and security. honeygrow does not sell this information.

Companies that help run the app

A few service providers handle this information for honeygrow, only to provide their service to us: Amazon Web Services hosts the app, UKG holds HR records, Harri holds schedules, and Anthropic provides the AI that helps draft and summarize some text. AI never makes a decision about your job. A person always does.

Hourly team members

Use the Ops App only while you are on the clock. You never need to check it, answer it or do anything in it when you are off. Notifications to your own phone only arrive during your scheduled shift.

If you ever do work in the app while off the clock, tell your manager so you are paid for that time.

Your own phone

Adding the app to your own phone is up to you. It only sees what you enter into it, and you can turn its notifications off at any time. On a shared restaurant device, always sign out when you are done.
